Jeannette Calle brightens your morning as part of San Antonio's fastest growing morning newscast, News 4 San Antonio Today.

Jeannette has seven years of experience in the field of meteorology and weather broadcasting, and is delighted in being able to give viewers what they need to know when it comes to weather and preparing for their day ahead. She likes to give people the weather straight forward; when it's going to rain, at what time and what is causing the rain. Its especially important in the morning as viewers are planning their day.

She is super excited about becoming a Texan and being a part of the San Antonio community.

Jeannette Calle joins News 4 from NBC Universal in New York City where she was a freelance meteorologist, filling in on weekdays and weekends on NBC and MSNBC. She also freelanced at WPIX in NYC.

Jeannette is a graduate of Temple University with a Bachelors degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Jeannette had a long run at AccuWeather, a 24-hour, weather-oriented, cable television network. She worked for over five years as a bilingual television and radio weather broadcaster, serving major television and radio networks worldwide.

Jeannette comes from a large extended family and is very proud of her Latin heritage. On her off days you can find Jeannette spending time with her family and friends, and working out at the local gym or taking a long run outdoors. She also enjoys cooking Latin, Italian and soul food cuisine, without recipes (she eyeballs everything).

Jeannette loves traveling. Her ultimate travel destinations include Italy, Spain, Thailand, Bora Bora and Fiji.
