Camilla Rambaldi is an Emmy-nominated reporter and fill-in anchor for News 4 San Antonio.
She joined the team in January 2016. Prior to Texas, she started her career in Helena, Montana. She spent two years at KTVH-TV working as an anchor, reporter, and producer.
She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, but her family roots are in Italy. Camilla is a graduate of California State University, Northridge (CSUN) with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and a collateral in Chicano studies.
Her passion for reporting news began in high school when she started writing for her school paper and for other media outlets. Since then, her hard work and ambition to become a journalist never stopped.
From stories on homelessness and crime, to holding city leaders accountable, Camilla's passion for story telling has no borders. She thrives to be the ears, eyes, and voice of those who are too scared to come forward.
Camilla gained her initial news experience as an assignment desk intern at K-ABC7 in Los Angeles and as an intern for the Peter Greenberg Worldwide show (CBS) while in college. She also spent some time in entertainment. She interned for Access Hollywood, The Hollywood Reporter, along with K-ABC7's On the Red Carpet.
Camilla has traveled to numerous countries, including Italy, Spain, and Africa. Traveling has allowed her to see and appreciate other cultures and expand her knowledge.
When she is not working, she takes on running, hiking, and yoga. She also enjoys mentoring students and keeping herself active in the community. Camilla is a current volunteer at Roy Maas Youth Alternatives (RMYA) an organization offering services to abused and neglected children and teens in the San Antonio area.
Camilla also regularly works with APTRA, RTDNA, and is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ).
