Ariana Lubelli is a reporter for News4 San Antonio.
She joins us from FIOS1 News in New York City. but this is not the first time she has called Texas home. Ariana got her start in journalism as a reporter/multi-media journalist at KRBC-TV, the NBC affiliate in Abilene, Texas.
In Abilene Ariana received the Texas Media award of the Year for her efforts to help children in foster care. She started a weekly segment called ‘Heart to Heart’ that led to the adoption of at least six kiddos.
She’s also covered major stories like the Fort Hood Army base shooting, immigration at the Mexico/American border, the New York City Chelsea bombing, the Times Square assault by vehicle of 22 pedestrians, the 2017 Presidential election and severe weather including blizzards, hurricanes and flooding.
Ariana is one of six children in a big Italian family. She was born and raised in The Bronx, New York, but considers herself a southern girl at heart. She headed South for college and attended the University of Miami (GO CANES) where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.
