San Antonio Spurs' Kawhi Leonard will not make his 2016-17 regular-season debut tomorrow night versus Boston as he will remain on the injured list according to the team.

It hs been speculated that Kawhi would be making his return to the floor this week and with tomorrow's game against Boston scratched off as a possible return game, it leaves the team's upcoming game versus the Suns on the road as a possible return.

The San Antonio Express-News reported Leonard might return Saturday.
The Spurs had discussed bringing back Leonard as soon as Monday, and there was an expectation that he might return during San Antonio's three-game homestand, which began Monday against the Pistons and ends Friday with the Celtics, before the team hits the road for Saturday's game in Phoenix.
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich has said all season "sooner rather than later" when asked about Leonard's possible return, but joked Monday that the "sooner" is "really much sooner now."

Kawhi has been spotted shooting with the team in practice and even was seen pre-game working out with the Spurs. However, no definitive timetable has been announced as to his return.
