Funny or Die releases 'Pop for President' ad

You may have seen Gregg Popovich 2020 shirts. Or Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry and Steve Kerr endorse the longtime Spurs coach for president.

Now Popovich has a spoof advertisement for his 2020 presidential campaign, produced by The Rich Eisen Show and Funny or Die.

“You may know him for his 20 years as a NBA coach or you may know him for his political rants after games,” the advertisement begins. “And now you’ll know him by another name – Mr. President.”

Popovich's presidential credentials go beyond the basketball court, too.

“Gregg Popovich is a veteran, a born leader and a silver fox," the voiceover continues. "Pop cares about the elderly, allowing Tim Duncan to play on his team well into his 80’s.”

And the kicker?

“And best of all America? Pop does not have a Twitter account. What more could you ask for?"

Watch the full spoof video below, along with an attack advertisement against Popovich's presidency.
