SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs guard Patty Mills' #GiveMamaCoffee drive to help stop family violence in San Antonio turned out to be a huge success.
Mills shared on his Instagram account that the drive raised over $103,000 which was donated to the Battered Women and Children’s Shelter in San Antonio. He, along with his wife Alyssa Mills, presented the good news to Marta Pelaez, the CEO and President of Family Violence Prevention Services of San Antonio.
Mills was overwhelmed by the response from San Antonio that he recorded a special message thanking all who participated.
“Your appearance and your support and your care for our community, our city was unbelievable. Thank you very much. Go San Antonio Go,” Mills said.
