24 surgeries in 6 months won't stop high school track star on way to Paralympic Games

SAN ANTONIO - Melanie Peters could one day represent the United States in the Paralympic Games. But for now, her main goal is navigating the ups and downs of high school, just like any other teenager.

The high school athlete and track champion met with David Chancellor to tell her story recently.
