In a recent episode of NBA TV's Open Court, Dallas owner Mark Cuban was remembering how his Mavericks came up short in the postseason versus the San Antonio Spurs in the West Finals when Dirk Nowitzki got hurt.

He pointed out how injuries change everything in a franchise's history and mentioned Kawhi Leonard's ankle injury in last season's West Finals. Recall Warriors' Zaza Pachulia stepped under Kawhi's foot on a jump shot resulting in No. 2's season finished and the Spurs eventual sweep.

Cuban points out how things could have been a lot different if Kawhi didn't get hurt when Warriors owner Joe Lacob rolls his eyes. This led Clippers owner Steve Ballmer to call out Lacob and say he'll stick up for Kawhi.

Check it out.

Obviously, Lacob isn't going to agree with Cuban. He cannot sit there and say, "Yes Mark. The Spurs would have beaten us."

Regardless, to see him squirm a bit might bring a smile to Spurs fan's faces.
