New San Antonio Spurs, guard DeMar DeRozan, is taking his offseason workouts into the boxing ring.

No, he is not getting set to challenge Errol Spence, Jr. or Floyd Mayweather Jr., rather he is looking at the sport of boxing to work on his footwork.

Check out DeRozan in the ring at California's Ten Goose Boxing Gym with trainer Rocky Funez and looking like he can float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.

Looking good DeMar!

This wasn't the first time DeRozan stepped into the ring at Ten Goose.

Back in May he was there doing some training along with Mayweather Jr.

This offseason, DeRozan said he is carrying a huge chip on his shoulder after being dealt from Toronto and said next season, there will be "hell" for a lot of people.

"This time around having the biggest chip on his shoulder ever."
This time around, I think it's going to be hell for a lot of people. No question.

Watch out NBA, the newest member of the Spurs is on a mission!

Other Spurs have taken their training into the arena of contact sports. Former Spur Tim Duncan took up kickboxing to stay in tip-top shape.
