The 2020 Cancer Community (C2) Awards Recognize the Unsung Heroes of Cancer Care
Oncology care is advancing at an extraordinary pace. Understanding the impact of these advancements to realize meaningful change requires collaboration and connection across the vast community of healthcare professionals, researchers, caregivers, advocates, educators and others, particularly at a time when COVID-19 has disrupted access to healthcare for many.
Those at the forefront of cancer care will be recognized during the second annual Cancer Community (C2) Awards across four award categories:
C2 Catalyst for Change Award: celebrating those who significantly improve access to cancer care for underserved populations.
C2 Catalyst for Care Award: recognizing those who enhance the experience of care for patients during their cancer treatment.
C2 Catalyst for Precision Medicine Award: honoring those who improve personalized treatment for cancer patients.
President’s Award: selected by AstraZeneca, honors those who make a tangible and inspiring difference for patients and their loved ones.
Each of the four winners will receive a $50,000 award that they can donate to a non-profit organization that serves the cancer community.
