Clouds are starting to break for late afternoon peeks and breaks of sun that will take us into this evening. Our eastern zone counties still have cloudy skies with drizzle or a few showers while western zone counties are under quite a bit of warm sunshine. This evening, partly cloudy skies mild and humid for outdoor plans. More clouds build in tonight with a few sprinkles possible to start Wednesday.

Clouds will mix out into partly sunny afternoon skies Wednesday and this will give temperatures a boost to 80 or the low 80s. Thursday again starts with clouds, mist and a random shower. The afternoon turns partly sunny to variably cloudy with only a sprinkle or stray shower possible in the region. It'll be very warm in the mid 80s Thursday. One of the big trends I've noted with our next cool front, it appears to be a little slower to arrive. So, I'm going to trim back the rain chance Thursday night to 30% and mainly late while keeping it higher out toward Del Rio. Friday will have the scattered rain chance through the morning to about 1pm then the front moves east. Not expecting severe storms at this time but can't rule out one or two that are a little on the stronger side if enough instability develops Friday morning. That said, western Hill Country to Del Rio will have a very isolated severe storm chance Thursday night to very early Friday.
