The changing face of the central library

SAN ANTONIO -- The next time you walk into San Antonio's Central Library you will most likely notice a change.

As of last week the first floor is now home to what's being called the New Latino Collection and Resource Center.

While the collection is getting some well deserved attention it is not new.

In fact, it's been around since 1995 and housed on the 6th floor.

The new location, which makes up 7,000 square feet of space, will also be home to three study rooms, a program area for lectures, a writer's workshop room and an art gallery.
