If you haven't been downtown San Antonio in a while, you're missing out.

A number of new projects in the works are going to add to the skyline, energy and population of downtown.

The new Frost Tower is the most noticeable right now. But there are also several new hotels, including one on the River Walk just across from the Aztec Theatre.

Another hotel a short walk away is going up on the site of the old Solo Serve Building on Soledad and the River Walk.

And south of City Hall construction's just getting started on what will be an $83 million dollar project called Kallison Square.

It will include shops and restaurants incorporated into nearby historic buildings and a tower with 15 floors of condos and apartments above six floors of parking.
