U.S. Customs and Border Protection says people climbed a section of the U.S.-Mexico border fence near San Diego Tuesday.

CBP said the migrants scaled the fence to "provoke the agents to arrest them, but ran back across the border."

CBP also says the agency believes some of these individuals are with the so-called "caravan" of migrants from Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador, which is currently making its way through central Mexico.
