A college basketball player has been suspended for a dirty play during a game in Massachusetts.

Video of the incident shows Kewan Platt, a player on the Fitchburg State University team, elbowing an opposing player in the face after he makes a 3-point shot.

Platt was tossed from the game; he was also suspended from the team and barred from the Fitchburg State University campus.

The school said it was "appalled" by Platt's conduct and he could face more sanctions.

The player who was hit, Nate Tenaglia, continued playing in the game after the vicious hit.
