Necklace containing baby's ashes found at flea market
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) - A Tulare County woman is now looking to reunite the ashes of a baby with its family.
Rosi Mendoza says she bought a silver necklace for $5 at the flea market. It's a silver necklace attached to an urn with the name Madelyn engraved. There is also a silver plate with a handprint and a message on the back with a March birthstone on the plate.
Mendoza says she didn't realize what it was until she got home.
"I know it means a lot for them to go this far doing this. I know that are heartbroken it is not with them. I would like to see it go back to the right person," said Mendoza.
Mendoza thinks the keepsake may have come from Dignity Memorial; A Timeless Touch.
