Woman dead, four others injured in overnight drive-by shooting
SAN ANTONIO – Multiple people were shot in an alleged drive-by shooting early Sunday morning leaving one woman dead.
Police said a group of people were standing on a street next to a silver car when another car driving down South Flores Street opened fire on the group, hitting five people total.
Two of the shooting victims were listed in critical condition, one male was transported to University Hospital in critical condition and a female was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.
A third victim fell into a creek bed, E.M.S had to pull the victim out of the creek bed and was transported to University Hospital.
A fourth victim was shot in the arm and was found at the corner of Cass Street and Midway. The victim was also transported to University Hospital.
The fifth victim was shot in the arm and was additionally transported to University Hospital in stable condition.
The woman later passed away due to her injuries. Authorities are actively investigating the shooting.
Authorities are asking the public to call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP with any information leading up to the arrest of the shooting suspects. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information that leads to an arrest in the case.
