Tuesday marks two-year anniversary of Nahomi Rodriguez’s disappearance
It's been two years since Nahomi Rodriguez was reported missing in Harlingen.
Rodriguez, 19, of San Benito left work at the McDonald's at 602 North 77 in Harlingen on July 17, 2016 — but never returned home.
Surveillance video showed Rodriguez leaving the restaurant in a light gray or silver SUV with an unknown man, according to the Harlingen Police Department.
Months later in April 2017, Rodriguez's remains were discovered by a farmer who was dredging a canal near Rio Hondo.
Harlingen police continue to work with Rodriguez’s family, the surrounding communities and several local, state and federal agencies for information on the person or people responsible for Rodriguez's disappearance and death.
A $25,000 reward is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
