Third suspect in San Antonio kidnapping case arrested

SAN ANTONIO - Police have made a third arrest in connection to the couple that was kidnapped nearly two weeks ago.

Police say they received a call around 1 p.m. on Monday for reports of a burglary at a home off Marbach and Hubble Drive.

According to the police, the suspect, 29 year-old Rafael Resendez, was wanted for two felony warrants including the kidnapping that happened earlier in September.

In September, a couple was kidnapped at gunpoint from their home on the Southwest Side of Mission Bell near Loop 410.

Police arrested Resendez and transported him to the Bexar County jail.

Investigators say this is the final arrest involved in that kidnapping case.
