CYPRESS, Texas - Tens of thousands of puzzle pieces all assembled into one massive display and all by one person.
A woman in Texas with something of a puzzle obsession just finished that masterpiece, the product of years of effort.
A puzzle with more than 40,000 pieces. The length is more than 20 ft and in width, more than 6 ft. A massive masterpiece.
The puzzle took about three years to build.
The woman says she plans to frame the Beauty and the Beast scene, but as for the other nine scenes, she’s still figuring out what she’s going to do with it.
"I had run out of puzzles to do. I was borrowing them from coworkers and friends and buying them from thrift stores and I started doing them upside down and realized I needed to get something a little bigger to take up more time. And this one definitely did that,” Emily Seidel says.
Emily may be done with that puzzle, but now she's taking on a new challenge.
It's a puzzle called "Around the World," and consists of even more pieces.
