Teen arrested in shooting that killed teen on Southwest side
SAN ANTONIO - A teenager is in custody, as he's charged with murder in the shooting death of a 16-year-old on the Southwest side.
Juan Carlos Gracia, 17, was arrested Monday evening after investigation led by officials.
Witness say when they saw Christian Jimenez Santos shot, there were two chasing him down the street.
Garcia is being held on murder charges and police say he has been cooperative. Officers tell us the crime may be drug related.
"Just a very sad case to have very young folks involved in this incident," SAPD Officer Doug Greene said. "It's under our understanding that the argument, part of the motivation was over drugs or money. Too many times that we've seen this that we've walked people down this hall, that we've went to homicide scenes and the motivation behind this is senseless, pointing toward drug and money."
There is still one other suspect they are looking for, the investigation is ongoing.
