A man dressed in a suit, tie and cowboy hat robbed an IHOP after threatening to kill everyone inside the restaurant, said police.

The crime happened in mid-May, but the San Antonio Police Department released details and surveillance images of the well-dressed suspect on Tuesday.

Investigators say the man walked into the restaurant along I-10 at De Zavala Road on May 17 and told an employee he wanted to buy a gift card.

When she walked over to the front counter, he told her had a bomb and gun and he threatened to kill everyone inside the restaurant if she didn't give him the money in the register.

After getting some cash, he took off in a 4-door beige sedan.

Surveillance pictures of the suspect show he wore a suit, a blue shirt, a tie and a beige-colored cowboy had. He also wore sunglasses.

If you recognize the suspect, call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
