Seven-year-old girl fighting hunger with lemonade stand

SAN ANTONIO—Our recent reports on the food shortage at the San Antonio Food Bank have inspired a 7-year-old girl to do something about it.

Reagan Niedens set up a lemonade stand on the north side on Sunday afternoon across from the Brook Hollow Library.

“I wouldn’t think of something to do like that at that age,” said Dawn Roberts, who stopped to get a cold glass of lemonade.

“She always likes to help others and take in stray animals and doctor them up so she has a really good heart,” said Justin Niedens, Reagan’s father.

In just 3 hours Niedens raise $154.39 for the food bank which is in desperate need of donations. You can help by click here.
