SAN ANTONIO -- The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in the disappearance of 51-year-old Judy Reyna-Gomez.

"The last time she was seen was at a Fiesta event, and literally she vanished, " said Sandra Pickell, a spokesperson with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators say this missing persons case has been challenging for several different reasons.

For one, Pickell says investigators have been unable to follow up with the person who reported Gomez missing. "No one has come forward with information, " she added.

Investigators are also unable to determine exactly where Gomez lives. "Her last known address on her driver's license was not accurate, " said Pickell.

The night Gomez was last seen there was also a check in at a bar downtown along Commerce St. on her Facebook page.

Pickell says investigators are unable to confirm if Gomez actually checked in herself. Since the night of Gomez' disappearance there has been no activity on her social media accounts.

"Our concern is that something is terribly wrong with her, or she's being held against her will, " Pickell said.

Hoping to generate leads, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office is asking for anyone who knows Gomez to come forward.

"We would like to hear from family members that might be watching the story, friends, relatives, neighbors, " Pickell said.
