San Marcos Police are looking for the public's help locating a teenager wanted for injuring a child.

Police say 19-year-old Richard Vincent Blythe's last known address was in Kyle.

According to SMPD, detectives were contacted in November 2018 by Dell Children’s Hospital to investigate injury to a 9-month-old.

During the medical evaluation, doctors discovered that the child had skull fractures, broken ribs and several lacerations to the liver, and many of the injuries were in different stages of healing.

After two months of investigation and interviews with the mother, Child Protective Services, and doctors at Dell Children’s, police issued a warrant for Blythe’s arrest.

Police say Blythe is a white male, 5'6" tall and 200 pounds. He may have grown facial hair.

Several attempts by law enforcement to locate Blythe have been unsuccessful and US Marshals are actively assisting in apprehending Blythe. If you have any information about his whereabouts, please contact Detective Robert Elrod, (512) 753-2132.
