There's a new car in town and it's got a hot name.

The vehicle, called the Tail Blazer, was unveiled Monday by San Antonio Pets Alive! and will be used to transport dogs. These dogs will be taken to states such as Oregon, Washington and Idaho for adoption.

“Previously, San Antonio Pets Alive! outsourced its dog transports to third party vendors," SA Pets Alive! Executive Director By now being able to manage the transports ourselves, we save money and that means more lives can be saved. It’s a win-win for the dogs, for San Antonio Pets Alive! and for the city of San Antonio.”

The Tail Blazer can take up to 38 dogs at a time and will take its first trip April 30.
