Rain in the forecast this Father's Day weekend
SAN ANTONIO —
Get ready for cooler temperatures and higher rain chances through next week.
Wednesday will be cooler than previous days, but still above normal. We should get closer - and perhaps below 90 degrees - starting on Sunday.
For Wednesday, expect a 20% chance of an isolated shower or weak thunderstorm in the area, mainly in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 90s.
Looking ahead, there are signs of a tropical wave pushing closer toward southeast Texas over the weekend with a rich supply of moisture. That means beneficial rain chances for the San Antonio.
The only problem? It could ruin your Father's Day outdoor plans, especially near the Gulf coast.
