SAN ANTONIO – The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has issued a public health alert for 12-ounce metal SPAM cans.
According to officials, customers should not eat “SPAM Classic” with the “BEST BY AUG 2026” expiration date.
Officials say the product was shipped to H-E-Bs across Texas and not any other grocery stores.
There have been no reports of any injuries or illnesses related to the consumption of this SPAM product, officials shared.
