Periods SATX helping women in need, offering supplies to those financially struggling
SAN ANTONIO- If you're a woman who has just lost a job and maybe can't afford to pay for menstrual products right now, there's a local non-profit that can help.
A chapter in San Antonio called Periods SATX is offering free tampons and pads to women who are financially struggling because of the coronavirus pandemic.
They've had about 30 people reach out to them in the past three days and want to help out more.
They have about 700 products right now, and have more on the way. You don't need to apply or qualify.
Right now you can reach out to them on social media on their Instagram or Facebook. Just look for Periods SATX.
They are solely based on donations and are looking for restaurants or stores that can set up a donation box.
You can even donate some unused products at home that you have if you would like to help out.
