SAN ANTONIO - A wounded warrior was in San Antonio on Monday to raise awareness for serving military, first responders and to fight hunger.

Wounded Green Beret Jarrid "Jay" Collins is on a mission to provide over 10,000 meals to service members and first responders here in the Alamo City.

Collins' "Operation BBQ Relief" made a stop at the Center for the Intrepid to feed those hungry service members and the less fortunate.

The stop in San Antonio is part of a larger 50-day journey across the U.S., where Collins and Operation BBQ Relief will prepare and serve hot meals to the hungry, first responders and military service members.
