North Side kidnapping suspect on the loose

SAN ANTONIO — A child, 7, is safe after being kidnapped for a period of time Thursday, but the suspect is still out there.

According to San Antonio police, the child was taken from the North Side at 8:30 p.m., and was found after being able to escape.

The suspect police are looking for is described as 5'10' and 160 pounds. He may be driving a small, newer maroon or red SUV.
