Multiple agencies intercept shipment of K2 from China bound for Austin
AUSTIN, Texas —
The Austin Police Department's Organized Crime Division, along with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, The U.S. Postal Inspector, the Drug Enforcement Agency and Homeland Security, intercepted a shipment of K2 bound for Austin from China.
APD says two parcels of synthetic cannabinoid were seized, and the suspect, 51-year-old Keith Nunley, was arrested.
The undiluted powder intercepted was to be used to create numerous kilograms of finished K2, police say.
Nunley is facing federal charges and is currently in the custody of the U.S. Marshal Service.
