Motorcyclist killed after car crashes into him on the side of the road identified
SAN ANTONIO - The man killed following a crash in Southeast Bexar County Tuesday night has been identified.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner pronounced Rafael Garza, 35, dead at the scene. According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, two motorcyclists pulled over along Old Corpus Christi Road, near South Presa Street, to work on their bikes at about 8 p.m.
That is when a car veered toward them and struck both men, killing one of them.
Garza died at the scene and the second victim, a 29-year-old man, was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. His latest condition was not known.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash. Deputies did not say whether the driver of the car that hit the men would face charges.
