SEGUIN, Texas -- A man has been arrested and charged with capital murder after a couple was found shot to death at their home in Seguin.

Officers were called to a property on Vivroux Ranch Road around 8:30 p.m. Thursday. When they arrived, they found the bodies of 29-year-old Thomas Holland and his wife, 27-year-old Jenita Holland.

Officers arrested Brian E. Day in connection with the deaths, and he has been charged with capital murder. His bond has been set at $2 million and he is currently being held in the Guadalupe County Adult Detention Center.

Investigators with the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office obtained search warrants for two different properties on Vivroux Ranch Road, one belonging to the Thomas and Jenita Holland and the other belonging to Day.

During their search of Day's residence, officers found "items believed to be homemade explosive devices" and "several firearms."
