Local high school student uses new app to achieve personal goals
SAN ANTONIO - What if an app could help make your dreams and aspirations a reality? One local student decided that's exactly what she needed, so she started using the 'One Million Dreams' app to keep track of her goals.
Alessandra Hoelveck, a sophomore at CAST Tech High School, says she's always wanted to become a marine biologist. She is now keeping track of that goal through the One Million (1M) Dreams app, which she created.
"I'm a visual learner, so having everything visually organized into a little app was really useful for me," she says. "I was able to get more ideas as I went along."
One Million Dreams allows her to set up a plan, take action and get reminders.
"You know what you're going to do step-by-step and you have due dates on there and you can set them," she explains. "It's kind of hard to just go at something. You need preparation and a view for what you want to do."
Whether you have fitness goals, vacation goals or career goals, you can use the app to lay out your plan and get started on those dreams.
The app is free and you can click here to get it.
