Kerrville ISD educator arrested, accused of having improper relationship with student
A Kerrville ISD educator has been arrested and charged with one count of Improper Relationship with a Student.
Kerrville Police say Sara D'Spain was arrested around 1:40 p.m. Thursday. Her bond has been set at $35,000.
A news release from the Kerrville Police Department states the arrest is the result of an on-going investigation. They say the investigation is one of two recent investigations conducted by the Kerrville Police Department regarding an improper relationship between an educator and a student from Tivy High School. The second incident is also currently under investigation.
Parents we spoke with told us D'Spain is a librarian Kerrville Tivy High School. If convicted, she could face 2 to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
