Fosters urgently needed for puppies: San Antonio Pets Alive! completely out of space
SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA)has put out a Code Red announcement, saying fosters are urgently needed for an abundance of unexpected puppies who are in danger of being euthanized due to lack of space and resources.
"It's a very sad state of affairs when we see this many puppies and happy, friendly dogs on the list for euthanasia," said SAPA. "The City of San Antonio Municipal Shelter is out of space and San Antonio Pets Alive! is COMPLETELY out of space. Our fosters are full. Our kennels are full. We've dropped temporary crates, and right now we're doing our best to get the word out about fostering to save their lives."
The rescue tells us that this year has been unprecedented for the amount of puppies and mom and pups they are seeing. Currently, they have seven 4-legged families right now and desperately need your help.
Their foster team can set you up with a puppy or two or maybe a wonderful adult dog if that works better for you.
