Flags made in San Antonio will be used for Trump inauguration
SAN ANTONIO - A company right here in San Antonio is making five flags to hang on the US Capitol on inauguration day.
Dixie Flag and Banner Company will be making hand sewn flags to be the back drop of the 58th presidential inauguration. Each flag is 12 and a half feet by 25 feet.
This is the fourth time the Dixie Flag and Banner Company has made flags for the inauguration.
“It's a tremendous offer to be selected to make flags like this for significant events. The flags will be seen all over the world and all of history - and that's an exciting thing to be a part of history,” said Pete Van de Putte, President of Dixie Flag.
Dixie Flag has been making American flags since 1958.
