Family says son's last call was to 911 before disappearing
SAN ANTONIO —
A 20-year-old's family says phone record show that his last call was to 911 before he went missing over the weekend.
The family of Jared Vargas says he went missing on June 16 after he was last seen at work in the 17600 block of La Cantera Parkway at about 4 p.m. Per AT&T records, his last call was to 911 at 5:32 p.m., according to his family. His car was allegedly found at an apartment complex not known to anyone and appeared to be stolen. It is believed that someone may have been trying to disguise the car because when it was found, someone had put stickers all over the car ad the last number of the license plate was covered in whiteout.
Jared was last seen wearing khaki pants and a blue button-up dress shirt. He is described as a Hispanic man standing at about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds, has straight, brown hair and brown eyes, is right-handed, has both ears pierces and has a scar on the bottom of his chin.
If you have any information on his whereabouts, please call police or his family at 210-416-4638.
