Deputies recover $100K worth of goods stolen from mini storage units

SAN ANTONIO - A traffic stop led to the arrests of two people suspected of breaking into dozens of storage units in Kendall County.

According to a post on the Kendall County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, deputies stopped a car that matched the description of another car used in a storage unit burglary the day before.

The driver, identified as Bobby Luckett, was arrested and deputies recovered several stolen items from the car. A search of Luckett's house turned up more stolen merchandise worth $100,000.

In all, deputies believe Luckett and a woman identified as Antoinette Bibb are linked to the burglaries of more than 40 mini storage units in Kendall County, two storage units and two cars in the Boerne area and the burglaries of two homes.

Luckett is charged with burglary of a building; Bibb is charge with theft of the elderly. Deputies are currently looking for a third suspect.

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office says there is a lot of property that has yet to be identified by owners.
