SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff announces that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
He released a statement on Friday saying that he woke up Wednesday morning with congestion, and the next day he and his wife took a test after seeing no improvement, and both tested positive.
Judge Nelson Wolff said that he and his wife are experiencing mild symptoms and are receiving treatment and care at home.
“This latest incident underscores how persistent this virus can be. While vaccination and boosters are not a silver bullet to infection, they will protect us from any serious illness from the virus,” said Wolff.
He also said that he has notified who he came in close contact with at the State of the County address on Wednesday.
