An efficient spring break Texas road trip

When it comes to a Spring Break road trip, science isn’t always part of the equation. Then Chevrolet enlisted data scientist and road trip guru Randy Olson to calculate the most efficient road trip route across Texas to visit the most well-known family-friendly attractions.

The trip starts here in San Antonio and heads north to Dinosaur Valley State Park in Glen Rose. You then hit three popular destinations in Fort Worth and Dallas. Jump back in the car as you head back south to the Children’s Museum and Space Center in Houston, and then finally Moody Gardens in Galveston.

Randy found that if you were to complete this entire Texas route – it would take you more than 15 hours to drive, and would cover more than 900 miles.
