Traveling Tips for the Summer

SAN ANTONIO-- The Transportation Security Administration (T.S.A.) is expecting a record high crowd in airports this summer season.

The agency is estimating about 243 million passengers and crew to be passing through screening checkpoints. That is about 2.6 million people a day.

The vast majority of those travelers are expected to travel between memorial day and labor day.

The T.S.A. recommends for travelers to double check for prohibited items in their luggage BEFORE going to the airport.

They also recommend neatly packing your carry-on bag, in order to make screening easier for yourself and others.

The T.S.A. also has an app called "MyTSA" available on both Apple Phones and Androids.
