Accidental shooting leaves teenager in critical condition
SAN ANTONIO - An accidental shooting has a teenager fighting for his life.
The incident happened just before 1 a.m. on Friday at a home in the 700 block of G Street.
Police said that a teenager was brought to the hospital with a gunshot wound. After talking with the victim, police said he told them his friend, who police identified as Laron Sanders, 19, had accidentally shot him. When the suspect had realized he had shot the victim, he had a relative take the victim to the hospital.
Authorities caught up with Sanders at the residence where the shooting took place. After talking with him, police took Sanders into custody and charged him with Aggravated Assault, along with two county warrants.
The victim is in critical condition.
