SAN ANTONIO - Police are looking for a 5-year-old child who disappeared from his biological father's home overnight.

Authorities were called out to a home Saturday morning on the 8800 block of Boise Hills for reports of a missing child. Police said the child's biological's mother dropped Sylis McClendon, 5, and his older brother off at the biological father's home. The father was out of town, police said, but two adults were staying at the time.

When the adults woke up Saturday morning the adults said McClendon wasn't in the home. There were no signs of forced entry, police said. Authorities searched the neighborhood and used a helicopter to search for the child. Police have not reached the child's mother yet.

If you see McClendon, call police at 911 or 210-207-SAPD (7273). He is listed at 3-feet tall, weighing 30 pounds, with blue eyes and dirty blond hair. He was wearing a gray t-shirt and khaki cargo shorts.
