
SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Police Department responded to a shooting incident in the 500 block of Corliss on the Westside around 9:40 p.m.
Officers swiftly descended on the scene following a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered evidence of the shooting, including shell casings scattered on the street and visible damage to several vehicles and residences.
Eyewitness accounts from individuals at the scene revealed that an unidentified vehicle passed by, discharging rounds toward the property, before swiftly fleeing the scene at a high speed.
Shortly thereafter, a 23-year-old man arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Fortunately, the injury was reported as non-life threatening.
Police share that this is an ongoing investigation and the community is urged to come forward with any information that could aid in solving this case.
