Sushi place fails inspection because of dirty equipment and no thermometers in coolers

SAN ANTONIO - Sukeban Sushi and Champagne located at 1420 S. Alamo Street, scored a 66 on its latest Metro Health Department inspection. Anything below a 70 is considered failing.

Inspectors cited the restaurant for:

  • Employees not wearing gloves or washing hands
  • Employees keeping food and drinks in non-designated areas
  • Food not kept cold
  • No thermometers in walk-in coolers
  • Dirty equipment

A deeper look into this restaurant, shows that it passed all its inspections this year and last year.
