The Food and Drug Administration is planning a campaign to discourage kids and teenagers from using e-cigarettes and similar products. The FDA says it will develop a full-scale public health education campaign, specifically targeting young people and their use of these products.

A spokesperson for the agency says the efforts are part of the agency’s new, comprehensive plan for tobacco and nicotine-focused regulation.

The campaign is expected to launch next year.
