In May, singer/songwriter, Marc Broussard performed at Sam’s Burger Joint. The Louisiana native is passionate about family and music. His sound is considered a mix of blues, country and R&B.
Broussard considers philanthropy a big part of his life. In 2015, he created the SOS Foundation (Save Our Soul). He has recorded versions of well-known songs with 50 percent of proceeds benefiting the Atlanta-based organization, City of Refuge to assist with those who are struggling with homelessness and poverty with education, training and job placement assistance.
Our Darlene Dorsey sat down with Marc Broussard for an up close interview at Sam’s Burger Joint—right before his show to talk about family, music and giving back.
