SAN ANTONIO - We want you to get to know your candidates. This week we're focusing on the candidates running to be the next representative for District 120.

We start with former San Antonio city councilmember Mario Salas. He says he would like to continue the work of Ruth McClendon, who's vacating the seat.

"She has a lot of initiatives and I'm going to keep supporting those initiatives," Salas explained. "I was a two-time city councilman. Two terms; second term unopposed. I was also the vice president of the Judson School Board and have a lot of accomplishments."

Salas says he supports women's rights as well as increasing the minimum wage. He also supports extending Medicaid payments under ObamaCare and supports full-day schooling for pre-k students.

On Tuesday we'll hear from Art Hall.
